The last weekend, Flora, Howard, Chris and I decided to go to Leeds Castle. We went to Victoria station and bought a £9.20 ticket of the train to Canterbury East. Actually, I didn't know we were going to Leeds Castle until I was in the train

The carriage was much more comfortable than the one we took to Brighten; there were some table for each four seats and, most importantly, air conditioning.
We gossiped a lot in the train about what had happened during the tow weeks.

This is an advertisement in the underground station, it's a composite picture of Tower of London, but I found that was beautiful and uncle told me the day before that there is really a castle standing in the middle of a lake, called Leeds Castle, and that was when I knew about Leeds Castle. (In fact, I thought it was Ritz Castle.)

Originally, we scheduled to visit Canterbury and then went to Leeds Castle. That , however, was a big mistake; not only we had no time to explorer the lovely town (we arrived  there at almost 13:00), but the rout we took was a large detour.

We went to EAT near the bus station to eat our lunch and then I ask a man who told me to take bus 335 to Maidstone where we could find way to Leeds Castle. So we bought a £5 bus ticket with return and got on the but at 13:30.

We arrived in Maidstone at 17:00, that was when we knew why the ticket cost £5. Though seeing a sign directed where Leeds Castle is when we were on the bus, we had to look for another bus that could take us to our destination. 10 minutes later, we decided to take a taxi.

The driver, who was very interested in the digital cameras on our hands (Chris carried a SONY DSLR camera), told us that there was no but to Leeds Castle on weekend, and charged us £16 for single trip. Having almost run out of time, we had no other choice but got on the car.

Experiencing all kinds of transportation (underground, train, bus, taxi) with most of the time and money spent today, the four exhausted people finally arrived at the dreaming castle. Without any hesitation we bought the £11 tickets for students and hurried in the the entrance.

I had been wondering: did this place worth we spent about £30 per each with only two hours to visit while many other people of our members were leisurely taking a boat trip on River Cam? But that doubt was terminated with each "wow" as we step further inside and saw the beautiful scenes everywhere.

The weather was pretty well, though it was not so clear in London.

There is a peacock stood by the side of the lake. I had never seen a white one before, actually, I never saw a peacock outside the zoo.

The Castle.

Inside the Castle, there are Lady Baillie Bedroom, Thorpe Hall, Henry VIII Banqueting Hall, The Heraldry Room and Fountain Courtyard.

We left the beautiful park at 17:30, but there were still many places we had no time to explore, including The Maze that is made of clump.

In the shop by the exit, we asked a women for any information of the bus that could take us to train station. Because if there was no bus running, we had to call the taxi driver.
The peacock that we saw when heading to the exit was totally not afraid of human.

Fortunately, we took the bus to Bearsted station, and got on the train to London before 19:00.
Though this was not a smooth going trip today (we complained a lot in the train), it was a very interesting experience.
