| Suddenly it was the end of this week, I felt it was slow in the
first few days, but it flowed faster and faster. We had a game in the morning classes. Rory gave us some paper with information of architectures, and wanted us to remember the content as much as we could. After the reading, Rory interfered with some "extra -games" and then went into the "main-game" which is simply Q&A. However, I didn't remember most of the questions such as "When were the architecture built?", "How did the architect die?" and "What is the best adjective to describe the architecture?". But our team still got a pretty nice score because of our French partner. She has an amazing faculty of memory, about 95% of the answers were written by her. |

| After the lunch, we followed uncle to London Tower station, where we were going to take train to Brighten. It was still hot especially in the carriage because there was no air conditioning. I tried to sleep before we arrived, but I felt the seat was burning. Besides, there were four big guys talking loudly just sitting next to us. That long journey took half and an hour. |
| |||||||||
| We arrived at Brighten at 14:42. There was another ICRT group which would go to the EF in Brighten, and I saw the online images and found that is such a lovely place, so I was expecting this trip to Brighten. |
| |||||||||
| However, the trip was not as attracting as I thought. After leaving the station, we followed Gardner and Bond Street where there are a lot of shops. But I was not here for shopping, especially I was not interesting in the goods such as second-hand ones and clothing things. |
| |||||||||
| Then we went to The Royal Pavilion, but I was not listening to what
uncle was saying that the palace was built for a princess who suffered
some kind of affair. People in the picture were not looking at my camera because I took the shot next to uncle who was also taking the photo. |
| |||||||||
| This is...I-don't-know-where-it-is. It features for the narrow allies and...shops. I brought a Kellogg's Crunchy Nut which is wheat flakes with milk because I was a little bit hungry, and I forgot to take a picture of it. |

| Clock Tower. It is located at the cross section of West St. Queen's Road and North Road. If we got lost in Brighten, just find the tower and head north, the train station would appear in a few minutes. |
| |||||||||
| After two shopping spots, we went to...the shopping center. In Churchill Square Shopping Center where there are Disney Store, HMV, Virgin Megastore and other stores that I was not interested in, I ordered my first McDonald's meal in UK. The Big Mac Meal cost me £3.59, and they tasted almost the same as in Taiwan. |

| I couldn't believed that I had been here for more than three hours and I had not seen the sea. After finishing my hamburger and French fries, I decided to go to the beach alone. |
| |||||||||
| The beach was full of people; they were eating, drinking, playing volleyball, seeing the sea. It should be a bustling scene, but I just couldn't blend into it. I think there was too many people, it should be more leisure with wind waving the leaves of palm. The old Brighten Pier (in the back of the photo) was under construction. |
| |||||||||
| There were lots of sea birds flying in the sky. I rarely see one in Taiwan, so I was very curious about them. |
| |||||||||
| I went back to the shopping center, assembling with others, and then uncle led us to the "nudity region" where most of the gentle men were expecting to go. However, there were only a few men swimming or sitting on the beach. |
| |||||||||
| Brighten Pier. The new pier is free to enter, and at the end is a theme park with some exciting facilities. |
| |||||||||
| The "sand" is not actually sand but gravel. |
| |||||||||
| We took off the shoes and sat on the beach. The sea water was cold that diluted much of the hot wave. |
| |||||||||
| Howard and Astrid were jumping into the water. After swimming in
Strait of Dover, Howard told me that he wanted to bring the underpants
that was filled with microorganism back to Taiwan for souvenir. (watch the video) |

| It was 20:30, and most of us had not eaten dinner except for the four gays who went to eat McDonald's, So we went to a store and order fish and chips meals. I forgot the name of that store and I couldn't believed I didn't take any picture of it. We went to the Brighten station at about 20:00 and arrived at London Tower station at 23:17. |
