| First weekday of the second week, I suddenly didn't know what to do.
I washed my clothes with washing machine which cost me £1.80 and went to
internet coffee at about 10:30. I had a optional class - social politics
- in 12:30, and we talked about the defect of the House of Lords. In
fact, I didn't totally understand the politics of Taiwan, not to mention
that of UK, but I learn what is the House of Lords and Commons, and some
relationship between them. The next class was general one, and the topic for the week was architecture, mainly about Western-style. Rory gave us some articles to read aloud. The final class was in iLab. Today's temperature was quite high, and there was no air conditioning in the classrooms (except for iLab classrooms). Even Rory said "I can't work on this temperature." when he just walked in the class. |

| After the classes, I stayed in my room and had no idea where to go, partly because most stores were closed before 20:00. But I forced myself to go to Tate Modern which is just 15 minutes away from the dorm. |

| Millennium Bridge. I did shoot some photo of Tate Modern but the image was not as well as I expected. |

| This is a typical bus in London, it features its bright red color. The mark of bus is quite similar to the one of underground, but it is filled with red and without words in the middle. |

| The taxi in London are generally called a Black Cab for its remarkable black figure. Auntie said that it is very difficult to get a taxi license. |

| One of the many things that I like in London is that pedestrians
obey no rule as long as they don't interrupt car running. If no car is
approaching even if it is red light, passenger can go across the road
without any worry. However, if there is a pavement with flashing yellow
light, pedestrians have precedence to pass the road. The only thing that I was not familiar is when I went across the road, I always had to look at both sides, because driving in London is along the left side. Roads in London are always not as wide as they are in Taiwan, and there are few motorcycles, so it made me felt that the traffic of London is better than in Taiwan. However, I think the air quality is not so well. Every day I was back to my room, I could find that my nose filled with dirt. It was really weird, because I never had that experience in Taiwan. Maybe that's why London was used to be called the city of fog (that was not because it rained a lot in London. Actually, London is affected by drought now.) |

| It is interesting that drivers enter London city during 08:00 to 16:00 (I am not sure the duration) of the weekdays, they have to pay a congestion charge. |
